CONCLUSION
 Crystal violet, also known as gentian violet or methyl violet, is a deep purple or dark green kind of, crystalline powder with a slight odor. It is commonly used as a dye and as a microbiological stain, as well as in the production of other dyes, pigments, & some pharmaceuticals. It’s important to use appropriate PPE when handling this chemical & to avoid prolonged skin contact & inhalation of dust. Gram-positive & Gram-negative bacteria can be identified in samples of human origin using the dried dye crystal violet to create a crystal violet staining solution. Even after being treated with a decolorizing solution, Gram-positive bacteria still retain their dark blue or dark purple color.
